Heirloom Builders

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Heirloom Builders ("we," "us," "our") designs and builds custom homes and remodels in the Sacramento, California area. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors to heirloombuilders.co and from people who contact us or respond to our advertising, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us — by email, by booking a call, or by submitting a form in one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram — we may collect your name, email address, phone number, the type of project you're considering, your timeline, and your ZIP code or property location. We only ask for what we need to talk with you about your project.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our analytics and advertising partners may automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the site or ad that referred you. This happens through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your inquiry and discuss your project
  • prepare estimates, proposals, and contracts
  • schedule consultations and site visits
  • send you information about our work, if you've asked to hear from us
  • understand how people find and use our website
  • measure how well our advertising performs, and show our ads to people likely to be interested in custom home building and remodeling

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising and analytics

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are owned by Meta. We use the Meta Pixel on our website — a small piece of code that tells us when someone arrives from one of our ads and what they do on our site. If you submit a lead form inside one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, Meta collects that information and shares it with us; Meta's own handling of your data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.

We also use Google Analytics to understand website traffic. Google's practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.

We may use this data to show ads to people who have visited our website, and to ask advertising platforms to find new people with similar interests. We do not use advertising data to make decisions about credit, employment, or housing eligibility.

You can opt out of much interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu, and you can control ad settings directly in your Facebook and Google accounts.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep the site working properly, to measure traffic, and for the advertising purposes described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed to do their job. These include our website host, email and scheduling tools, analytics and advertising platforms, and — where a project requires it — subcontractors, designers, architects, engineers, and suppliers working with us on your project. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

We keep project inquiries and client records as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, tax, insurance, and contractual obligations. Inquiries that don't lead to a project are generally kept for up to three years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously — including your project plans and any financial details shared during a build.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • correct information that's wrong
  • delete information we no longer need
  • stop sending you marketing messages

To make a request, email hello@heirloombuilders.co. We'll respond within 45 days.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request deletion, to request correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the CCPA. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we'll post the updated version here and change the "last updated" date above. If the changes are significant, we'll make that clear on our website.
